Action History Summary
Clean Email can email you a regular summary notification of all actions it has taken to keep your mailbox clean.
The summary message includes actions such as:
- Messages Processed via Sender Settings
- Unsubscriber Status
- Messages Processed via Auto Clean Rules
This optional notification is enabled by default. We recommend leaving it enabled at first, to make sure you have configured everything correctly and Clean Email is not removing or deleting messages that you want to keep.
You can control which specific Auto Clean rules will have their actions included in the action history by editing individual rules whose actions you do not want included.
You can also choose to turn off the Action History summary (not recommended), and you can control how often we send it.
To control the Action History Summary, click your email address at the top left-hand corner of the page, and then select Notifications from the account menu.
Enabling and Disabling the Action History Summary
The Action History Summary notifications are enabled by default. You can turn them off (or back on again) by clicking to switch off the toggle next to Action History Summary on the Notifications page.
- When the toggle is turned on, the button appears on the right-hand side of the toggle switch, and the toggle is green.
- When this feature is turned off, the button moves to the left side of the toggle switch, and the toggle turns gray.
Controlling How Often Action History Summary Messages Are Sent
When Action History Summary notifications are enabled, you can control how often Clean Email sends these messages by clicking the drop-down below Action History Summary and selecting the desired message frequency: hourly, daily, or weekly.
