Account Settings Overview
To go to your account settings click the button with your name on it and then on Settings.
At the top there is a section with different tabs, to control various aspects of your account.
The first tab, Notifications, is to control the type of notifications and time interval you want to receive summaries and other notifications from our system. Following that is a section to manage the Excluded Emails lists.Both of them were covered in related sections of this help section.
Aliases and Lists is where you add your alias email addresses, if you are using any. You can add these in the Aliases list to make the engine smarter. However, only put addresses which are directly associated with the email you are logged in to. Add one address - firstname.lastname@example.org - or the whole domain - @domain.com. For your convenience, dedicated exclusions lists were added for special senders (coworkers, friends & family, etc).
The Subscription tab will show details about your current subscription type (if you have any) and gives you the option to cancel it or change your plan. Here you can also give one (or more) of your free slots as a gift to someone else (a friend, a member of your family, etc).
A Gift account behaves like a standalone premium account, totally independent from the user that sent the gift and will keep working as long as the account it was sent from is active.
The Your Data tab has links and information regarding our data retention policy and also information on how to remove your account from our service. As a free user you can do that yourself but paid users can currently only delete emails by making a request to our support. We chose this approach to make sure that no paid account is removed by mistake and no data is lost.
The last tab has links to this help area and also gives you the option to reset interface hints or contact our support team if you have questions or issues not covered by the existing materials.
